## Job Description
What you'll be doing 
 
 We are looking for an analytical  **SEO Manager**  to guide the organic growth strategy for our product verticals at Go.Compare. As the primary authority for SEO within your category, you will define a long-term vision that ensures our digital properties are technically, content-rich, and high-authority. 
 
 Working within a high-performing team, you will lead the charge in driving high-quality traffic and conversions. You will have direct  **line management**  of an SEO Executive, requiring a leader who can balance high-level strategy with hands-on mentorship and cross-collaboration. 
 
 You'll also be responsible and oversee the following 
 
 Roadmap development: Build a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with high-level our Goals, revenue targets, and conversion goals Competitive intelligence: Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify content gaps, new opportunities, and defensive strategies vs industry competitors Resource management: Allocate resources and necessary budgets to ensure maximum Return on investment across all SEO plans Site health: Manage regular technical audits to increase crawlability, indexing, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals (CWV) 
 
 **Experience that will put you ahead of the curve** Deep proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog understanding of HTML/CSS, JavaScript SEO, and how modern web frameworks impact search Relevant industry certifications (GA4, GSC, or specialised SEO courses) Experience managing external agency partners Previous skills setting ongoing goals and measurement's for direct reports
