Are you passionate about search engines, data and AI? Rubio Monocoat, a global player in wood protection, is looking for an SEO Lead who not only understands how to rank in Google and Bing, but also anticipates how brands get found in AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and others.

You’ll join a vibrant digital team to elevate the visibility of multiple international brands and e-commerce platforms. Your mission: design and implement scalable SEO strategies that strengthen our long-term digital presence, with a focus on structure, analytics, and innovation.

Your role

Develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies for multiple international webshops. Explore and apply strategies related to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). Conduct in-depth keyword, query, and prompt research, targeting both traditional and generative search platforms. Optimize site architecture, content structure, and internal linking for maximum impact. Oversee UX and SEO alignment, while ensuring technical health (crawlability, structured data, speed…). Manage redirect mapping during webshop migrations. Adapt SEO strategies to multilingual and local market contexts. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary digital team, each contributing to the growth and performance of our international webshops. Experiment with AI-driven SEO tooling, structured data, and CRO initiatives in partnership with our performance team. Deliver long-term, scalable solutions that improve organic performance and visibility.

Your profile

Proven experience in SEO (2+ years), with a strong focus on analytics, strategy, and site architecture. Skilled with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog. Solid understanding of CMS platforms like Shopify. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy. Proactive, team-oriented, and open to collaboration and experimentation. Ambitious and entrepreneurial spirit, with an eye for innovation. A sharp communicator in both Dutch & English. Understanding of and experience with woodworking is a valuable asset.
