You’ll be the hands-on SEO/growth marketing Team Lead, steering several key projects (3-6) from strategy to execution. You’ll mentor a team of SEOs and growth marketers, review outputs for quality, and serve as the primary client contact, translating results into clear, strategic recommendations. What kind of team will you lead?

You’ll lead a mix of full-time SEOs and contractors, overseeing output and ensuring quality, consistency, and performance. Which skills and tools matter most?

Strong ownership, proven SEO strategy, technical SEO, and content planning sit at the core. You should be able to audit sites, translate findings into client-friendly reports, and understand HTML, CSS, JS; Python, regex, and scraping are a plus. Fluency with tools like Screaming Frog, Jet Octupus, Ahrefs, GSC, and custom GPTs will help you move fast.
