About the Opportunity The Search Optimization Volunteer plays a key role in boosting SkilledUp Life’s online visibility and discoverability. By conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and supporting technical SEO initiatives, you will help SkilledUp Life and its startup partners improve search rankings and attract organic traffic. In addition, you will explore visibility opportunities across emerging generative engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude. This role offers hands-on experience in a live SEO environment with measurable impact. Key activities Conduct SEO audits and identify areas for improvement. Perform keyword research to target relevant search terms. Optimize website content and metadata for on-page SEO. Recommend structural and technical improvements for better rankings. Collaborate with content writers to align copy with SEO best practices. Monitor performance using tools like Google Search Console, Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs. Explore and test methods to improve visibility in generative engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini). Provide insights and recommendations for SEO strategy improvements.

Requirements Strong understanding of SEO principles, strategies, and tools. Familiarity with Google Search Console, Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar. Interest in generative AI engines and search discovery optimization. Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage own workflow. Collaborative mindset, eager to support global startup and talent growth.
